    Unfortunately not just your tyres. The roads in the uk are simply shocking! Even the relaid surfaces aren't flat or smooth and still take longer than ever to do!!!!

    I spent 30 odd years doing diagnostics on euro crap and none of that covered everything either regardless of cost! I always swore not to own something I have to plug in to fix but here we are (doh!)

    I see. There is always a trick to every bit of gadgetry! Although I drive lots of different modern crap at work my present daily car is a 1977 daimler with the only electronic bit being a replacement distributor!!!

    That sounds much safer! My key looks quite original (tired) and has original dealer key ring(also tired). The key has a sticker with e0682 on it but guess that is a type label?

    Thanks for the quick replis again. I think it beeped twice whwn i turn the key on.. I swore i wouldn't have a car that beeped at me! Hopefully it is just a bulb then although the previous owner had no history or spare key that it had two years...

    hi all I have just bought a 2002 4.6 p38 and only half the digital display on the instrument cluster lights up so no idea if or how many faults it has! is it a bulb or was this deliberate sabotage by previous owner?
