Thanks for the ever useful info. Half the clips are missing on sub box that side so will have a proper look behind that as the speakers in it don't pop any more when I turn the ignition off with the stereo on so may well be a bit green and soggy...

Yesterday my best friend of many years asked if I fancied a road trip deep into wales to collect a 1953 Chrysler new yorker that has been sitting for a few years and follow him back in it. It was a round trip of about 400 milles, What could go...

Thanks for all the replies. I am in Oxford with no off street parking so have to rely on jump pack. Where is the trailer socket as I have a solar panel? I have used it each day and no problem.

I was hoping it would last more than 3 days!. I also can't believe the cigarette lighter isn't permanent live for solar charger as every British car I ever bought has been. Bet that is another millennium " improvement "!!!

I do wonder if off road tyres should be legalised for road cars as not many roads count as proper roads any more!

Unfortunately not just your tyres. The roads in the uk are simply shocking! Even the relaid surfaces aren't flat or smooth and still take longer than ever to do!!!!
