Ah ok i was probably over reading it as well trying to think a bit out side the box.

I have never heard a pssschhh on mine there is no dump valve to make that noise unless you have a split in the pipe work from turbo to inlet manifold you should not get a noise.

He hasn't noticed that he has actually got a diesel.

Yes i have the proper tool, makes it a lot easier, its quite a weighty lump.

There are three pumps on the l322 intank transfer one, mid one under the car and the high pressure one on the engine.

There is a transfer pump in the tank to pump from one side to the other if that has gone it can look like you have fuel but the side the pickup is in has not, open the fuel cap and have a listen for the pump running.

Dont bother trying to press the old bushes out run a drill bit through the bush a couple of times just catching the inside of plastic outer and you should be able to collapse the outer and hook them out with a screw driver.

Yeah you need 4 individual bushes. Temporary solution that will probably save you a bunch of time: -Use the two bushes you have now to replace the ones you've marked in blue. One on each radius arm. -Refit the radius arms with the old bushes in...

When I did mine I put the chassis on stands and had the wheels on the ground so axle was supported and did one arm at a time that way nothing moved
