For drivers side horn I found it's easier to reach up from under the car through the battery tray to access it. As a "temporary" fix for my last MoT/testing I got a plug kit and crimped on the female prongs and then pushed them onto the male...
I think it was an option for duals until ~98 where it became standard. As with everything Landy at the time, nothing seems to be set in stone and anyone can have anything if they ask for it.
But not sure what the score was for Japan. They had...
Tried sorting the fueling issues, following Keith's guide first try I managed to get modulation down from 73% to 60%, but I realised the rear support bracket is missing from the FIP, so saw that as a good place to stop as the modulation was...
Great news. Went to hospital yesterday for colonoscopy. Camera right up to where splice is from tumour removal and all clear . NO signs of cancer only a non cancerous polyp found and that was removed. Slept a lot better last night :vb-angel1...
Suppose that makes sense, front airbags were rated for a 10 year life (15 year side airbags). I can't imagine anyone ever had them replaced so even the youngest are looking at 23 years old.
Have you considered this guide? Not sure on the longevity of that fix but it's a simple option.

It does, bigger issue is it doesn't rev at all, put your foot down and wait. The old girl hasn't been drivable since this pump was fitted. I've got the lads in the metal bay at work making me a timing pin, and I'll get a static timing kit ordered.
I have the first one he sent me that failed. Unfortunately I sent back my good but a bit leaky pump shortly after the first was fitted. Never did get back my core charge.
Ironically I do, hasn't worked since it went on in December, which replaced the one that went on in October but failed in November. CN4X4 stopped answering my calls, so slowly getting the tools and parts to fix it all myself.
That is my understanding too, based on looking at RAVE the fuel temp sensor is under the top cover of the FIP and a new one is about £20 and looks an easy replacement.
I'ma hold off, been pointed out my fuel temp is way out, so gonna change that before I touch anything else, as the pump thinks the fuel is way colder than it should be.
Finally got a nano for it. I'm not sure if I'm reading it right though, but if I am, the fuel value should be 5ish, but is currently 63 (or is it the 23.5)? So running lean.
And the timing, should be around 50%, so is currently retarded. If I am...
Engine swaps wouldn't make a vehicle compliant, it's the OEM engine that counts. But, that means you could get a 4.0 P38 which can be registered as ULEZ compliant, and then stick in a LS motor and still be golden.
Nothing, the mobile garage I rang who said they had a computer to plug in haven't got back to me, so I'ma take the plunge and buy a nano. Got the guys in metal bay to fab me a timing pin, so that should save me a few quid at least.
I've not known a glass claim going against no claims. I've had to claim for my glass twice on my P38 and once on an old Merc, neither time counted against my no claims.
I am confident it isn't from my car. Just took off pre filter hose to test in tank flow rate, 300mil in 10 seconds. All perfectly clear. Took off hose just as it enters the FIP, also clear. My guess, I'm sending the pump and injectors to get...
If I can get her going, she'll unhappily cruise, but taking off from a dead stop, or hills. You need to get out the calendar for 0-60 time. So Bucks is a bit on the far side. I've been given the contact details of a place in Bristol, so I'm...
My parents had a similar issue with a Hilux a few years back, had been sold with a cracked head but with some crap in there to hide it. About 3 months later it started blowing coolant pipes. Guy was a family friend where I did my apprenticeship...
That's what this appears to be, going to reach out to a place in Bristol (DTM I believe) that can refurb them, average price seems to be 800-1000, some parts are unobtanium though, so if they are broken the pump is for the scrapper.
Gotcha, so...
Okay, gotcha. Yeah EGR unplugged is doing nothing, had hose to it off to check for signs of exhaust passing anyway which was clear. Replaced the vacuum solenoid for it as I had one, did nothing. I even tried unplugging No4 injector, weirdly the...
Tried to get a dispute logged with PayPal for a refund on the FIP which I'm pretty sure is dead. PayPal says no, I have 180 days from day payment is made, but only 30 days after delivery, so I had 30 days to report the fault. By the time the...
I've used Biscuit for a number of years, got that name because a lad at college was talking about soggy biscuit and I refused to accept that anyone has ever played it in the history of time. Everyone has heard of it, no one knows anyone who has...
