low idle speed on 2001 Discovery Td5, I have read many threads on rough/lumpy running but none quite match my problem. Can anyone help?
The car starts first time every time hot or cold regardless of outside temperature, drives and pulls well with ok fuel usage (passed MOT emissions with no trouble) no smoke or misfires Ok so far. BUT the idle speed seems a few revs low at idle either hot or cold, it picks up cleanly when revved, the odd thing seems to be that when pointed down hill on a slight slope this doesnt happen but when pointed uphill on a slight slope is more noticeable????? This has been driving me mad for some time now, has anyone else experienced this?
