Hello -

I just read your post on the shifter linkage rebuild on your P38. I am having similar issues. You mentioned in that post that you were going to write up something for the forum. I was writing to see if you ever got around to that. If not, do you have any words of wisdom?

Under the bonnet or underneath it as Usual...

Get hold of the console end of the ducting and bend it in a U shaped
it will stand it

get aggressive with it
if u are at the ducting you are nearly there

once u over come that the rest is eazsy

ian,thanks matey for the info on the o-ring change,i,ve got it stripped down to the ducting and that ducting is doing my head in.apart from that the jobs not too bad.i,m sure i,ll get there in the end.thanks again craig
