I have just started a returning to road worthiness of a 1972 109" series 3. It has been stood for 7 years. After pre start checks and help from members on this site I got the old girl turning over and eventually running!
While running, it eventually cuts out due to too much fuel; fuel is pouring from the float chamber overflow and into the engine. I'm hoping this is just the floats sticking/adjustment but if not I've seen a zenith service kit.
I was wonderering what does the kit contain and is it worth bothering with or just change out the carb for a replacement one?
I've also seen the weber replacement for the Zenith is there any benefits or advantage with the Weber?
Thanks,
Gary
