Before I strip it down, does anyone know what the problem/solution is
To the fault I have with the wipers. The wipers work but the sweep often extends to hit the "A pillar & scuttle.

Worn cups and balls in the linkage

Thanks but recently replaced blades with genuine.
It's not every sweep looks like something worn or loose.

That's what I think. But what's the cheap cure?

Not blades, the bit in between the blades and the pivot ...
Measure with an other of the same model ...
