Hello,
I have a P38 4.6 HSE with a light tan leather interior. The drivers armrest and the seat side are just starting to show a little wear.

Does anyone have any suggestions re maknig this look better etc.

I believe you can now buy leather paint, if so can any one recommend any or any suggestions out there!!!!

Thank you:)

The leather paint u mention leaves the area it's used with a bit of shine I used it on a jacket, I don't think u can still get it.
I'm lucky at the moment I don't need the stuff but I was intrested in a demo I saw at a car show with a leather condition treatment, it had a tint of colour to match the leather upholistery and the demo was using tan. It didn't make the dark marks disappear totally but it there was a visable improvment, the more u use it the better it gets I expect. Its costs over £20 for a small 250ml bottle :( The name on the bottle was Gliptone.

these guys are pretty good - if you send them a sample of your leather ( bit from under seat etc.) they will match to your exact colour - a bit fiddly to apply ( you have to 'cure' it with a hairdrier between coats) - their cleaning & repair kits are excellent - make dirty old leather look & smell like new.

this guy on ebay is best - he does all colours for disco's & range rovers - used his stuff to repair the 'alpaca' leather seat in my 2001 disco ES & it was a perfect match. (his is the 'Gliptone' mentioned on previous post)

Used the Gliptone , which I got from Egay on my Lightstone leather to cover the usual marks on the drivers seat squab and a mark left by a leaking ball point pen on the rear seat. Covered them a treat-brilliant stuff which was a great match-didn't need to use the toners supplied.
