I bought a replacement for my worn out a-frame ball joint but i cannot get the old part off, i don't know if it's just on super tight or it's rusted on. I tried WD-40 and some transmission oil and it still doesn't budge. Any tips would be helpful, thanks in advance

I meant this ⬇. Defender A-frame ball joint. This is the new one

Take the two large long bolts out, then the 4 bolts holding the casting to the axle. Get the big nut off in a vice.
It's a pita job replacing just the balljoint, best to get one complete with the carrier, bit more expensive but saves loads of time and grief.

So what stage are you stuck at? In the picture you havent removed anything except maybe a split pin

Best really to ask questions in the right section of the forum as this is the intro section, more people will see it in the right section.

Yes, i have got nothing else to even turn
Map torch on the nuts of the 2 long bolts, I had to cut the nut off one with a grinder and replaced them with new.
Good quality multipoint ring spanner on the 4 bolts to the axle casing. Can't remember the size, might have even been imperial but make sure the spanner fits tight, if they round off it's a pita, you'll have to drop the axle. I cut the large nut that has the split pin with a grinder in a vice, cut two sides vertically down and the remains will drop off. Punch the taper out.
Then you've the fight getting the ball joint out of the carrier, you could be cursing for hours trying to get that out and probably fail to do so. Like I said above, get the ball joint with the carrier then it's just replace the 2 long bolts and the 4 axle ones and your done. Fit the ball joint nut and split pin to the axle mounting before replacing the 4 bolts and tightening up.

I thought i was clear, sorry

A decent hammer and a sharp chisel will get the nut off if its seized, but you will need room to swing the hammer, not easy if its a 110.
If you have a compressor an air chisel would be much easier/faster/noisier!

Iirc you could buy the new joints already set into the a frame bit, so it was just the two bolts and the one nut to replace the joint, handy if you aint got a press.

I started with the arms, wasn't too difficult. Especially now that a friend came to help
