I am totally confused.
Picked up cylinder head today from engineers - they cleaned it and sorted out thermostat housing sheared bolts - nothing more.
I've just checked the new injectors I bought fit into the housings, and they don't - they won't slide over the shoulder where the two washers fit at the bottom, even without the washers in place. Not only can't I get the new injectors to slide in, but also the old units won't go back in!
OK we are in Austria, and the garage temperature is only 2°c, and the head is in a room with about 18°c, but I honestly can't believe that the ambient temperature would make that much of a difference?
Any suggestions, because I am absolutely flummoxed!
