Had a very satisfying afternoon cutting the grass with my very elderly Ransome's gang mower. Anybody else use their landy as a tractor?

absolute excellence hughsey, i take me hat off to yer, i bet the turns are a bit hard going in a 110. nice to see a landy in action ;)

No but would if I had a plough, I'll be looking out for summat to adapt at the shows this year.

I drag a roller and an old fashioned cultivator over our game-cover crop land - I'll take some photos next time.

Yelle it's a bit hard to get right into the corners but we've decided to let them grow natural so not bothered. Bloody imposible thing to reverse mind:D

Hehe I'd never have chosen that colour but it's sort of growing on me. No doubt it'll end up nato green eventually:D

Don't they both go in the same hole? one at a time obviously. I got my old gang mowers cos they're ground driven by gears off their own wheels so dont need a pto.

In that case dunno:confused: Wouldn't have an overdrive on a defender anyway so the question wouldn't arise;)

Here's how to tension sheep netting, when putting up a new fence.:)
