What's the best Complete genuine work shop manual, for Defender 110. ?
Just getting started my rebuild here https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/looking-for-project-defender.325181/
But having a Hernia Operation tomorrow, they say I cant do anything for a good few weeks so gonna read up on the rebuild before I go mad sitting about doing nothing. as I am No Professional still learning.
Also best part number catalogue? I know there is some online to Download but would rather have the book in my hand when I'm at Garage.
Thanks

Avoid the Haynes - unless maybe your familiar with the vehicle.
Am a noob (but no spring chicken), just couldn't get on with it.

Good luck with the op. Been there..

I assume you've got the RAVE and I know you wanted hard copy but I've got some good Fender wiring diagrams I could mail you.
PM an e-mail if you want.

Brooklands books do very good manuals.I to prefer a book in the workshop. Not cheap but a whole lot better than the Hanes book of lie's.

Where can I buy one from?

I would imagine this one -

http://brooklandsbooks.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=12_77_551&product_id=383

Youre never going to get one to cover the truck and a new implanted engine, but i would suggest it better to get that manual, and then maybe a cheap hayns manual for a 300tdi?

If you got this one -

http://brooklandsbooks.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=12_77_551&product_id=392

You would find that a number of things did not match up with your truck, so i would certainly get the one for your age of truck, regardless of the engine fitted.

Whats the difference between the first one and this one?? Amazon product 1855203111value&linkCode

I don't know! I suspect (but again really don't know) that the ones with the green covers are more military?

My 101 manual is green, so that's really all I'm going on...

Gonna be out of work for a few weeks so Trying to find second hand one but none for sale.
Anyone on here want to sell one??

I'd also get hold of the parts manual. Firstly cos then you'll have part numbers when every you need but also the exploded diagrams are actually more detailed then a lot of the work shop manuals. You can access it online for free

Try Rimmer Bros theyre selling DVD OTP. I use this for my freelander 1 for parts and other information.Having a hybrid it depends how well the previous owner married the engine to the 110.
