done nearly a month of research, and yes the right landy 4 me is a 110 with a 200tdi...............but oh no,not that bl**dy simple, now, after all the reading a bit of passion has started for the series 111,i might come to my senses or be seeing u guys in this sub forum !!
Your opinions on wether a 109 is a suitable starter landy for a complete begginer would be appreciated.Cheers

Series Landys are for sure the easiest and cheapest way to get into Solihulls finest, both in puchase price and parts are as cheap as chips and simple to work on.

after youve got your series, there will be times when you wished you had bought an escort.

Sadly, and I am ashamed to say it, but I would agree, I have been building mine, chasis up for a few months now and am finding it rather a burdon.

Series Landy are like women
Can’t live with them.
Can’t live without them.
Can’t afford them.
Can’t kill them.

My recommendation to both problems,
Find a good one and settle down to years of joy and tears.
:D :D :D

sreies landies are like feckin warts. you have one , you get rid of it, then you get another, get rid of that, then you find that 20 years later you still feckin have one ;)

went and viewed a 109,but grudy so wouldnt of got that one ( few tooo many drips from various areas including fuel tank ),but in fact i dont think i will b getting any series cos when in the seat my eye line was level with the sun visr/roof ! So unless the 109 was built specifically for short people im guessing that all series are probably a no no for this lanky g1t !
