greetings and salutations

im about to do the above I know how to wire to the relay and the rest of the connections cos ive read all the relevant posts on these forums and thankyou all for the wisdom, but im undecided on the best way to run from the battery or take a live from elsewhere. they will be on an independent switch , or if you have done the same which I imagine many have done your advice would be most appreciated.
