hi all, which wire is the 1st accessory of the ignition switch (+12v) ? is this the white wire ? And when it says that 2 pins on a relay are normally closed but can be connected ..... does the normally closed bit mean that you connect the 2 pins together ?
cheers Ian

I thought the ignition live was purple from memory.

A normally closed contact on a relay is the one that makes a circuit when the relay is not energised....when the relay is energised, the normally closed contact become open circuit.

On most 4 pin relays, they are normally open, meaning it requires the coil to be energised to close the contact and make the circuit work.

Take a read of this.....

white is main ignition live ,white and orange auxiliary ignition wire, purple wires are fed from brown battery feeds

Cheers both, have read both of those Saint.v8 this relay came pre wired its for an immobiliser one wire goes to the 1st accessory of the ignition switch(+12v) then 2wires says normally closed, can be connected to ..... see wiring diagram for guidance.
Cheers Ian
