Hi,
I have wiper problems, wipers don't park so I fitted a new park switch but they still don't park, also I don't have intermittent wipe she just runs continuously. All comments greatly received.

She is a 2008 110 SW love her to bits apart from the ruddy wipers :)

It's a Landy.....the wipers work......what's the problem?

Good grief you'll be expecting it to keep the rain out next!

try pushing the wiper relay back in to its holder. They do like to rattle loose.

The relay could also be jammed. A VW 99 relay is a good replacement and will give you an adjustable intermittent time delay.

Ok could someone tell me were the relay is on a 2008 Pico 2.4 please.

If it's the same place as earlier defenders it's behind the fuse box cover in front of the gearstick and on the left hand side. I'm pretty sure it's a bright red relay.

Good news found the relay under the steering wheel, just pulled them out until the wipers stopped.

Bad new pushed her back in and still no joy, I will try and get a new relay but could it be the wiper motor itself?

Unlikely. The motor is working. It's the starting and stopping that is at fault.

Yep I think i will get a new relay tomorrow and try that first (well second after the new stop switch).

Done my wheel boxes earlier in year and park switch . And the park switch has to sit flush and the little clip wasn't clipping in and had the same prob. So make sure the park switch is properly clipped in tight and flush to motor.

Yes the clip on the park switch was a pain to get on. New solenoid will be fitted this week , if still no joy I will try another park switch bad start all over again!!!!!
