Hi there,
Im about to (next weekend) winterise a series 3 diesel as its not going to be ready before the real freezing weather hits us!
Do I just need to open the drain tap on the radiator and cylinder block? Or is it better to temporarily make a closed system, and leave some coolant in the radiator and engine.
Ive not ever had to do this before as Ive always had a nice warm garage!
Are there any other precautions I should take if Im planning to leave it out over the winter?
Thanks for all your help,
Its been really useful!
Jonathan
