Ahh just noticed its a range rover, probably the same. Your in the Freelander forum.
It depends a degree on the position you're trying to reverse to, but I simply cannot ever see a reason why I need to see the rear wheel. I know the rear wheel is below the rear side window, I definitely don't need to check it's still there, every time I want to reverse.i have it dip slightly, gives a better view of the ground behind me. i don't need to see in the far distance when I'm reversing
hopefully the wheel hasn't fallen off! i use it all the time when parking on my drive, if I'm not close enough to the grass, I can't get my bike out, if I'm on the grass then it makes a mess. first world problems i guess.. saves opening the door when its rainingIt depends a degree on the position you're trying to reverse to, but I simply cannot ever see a reason why I need to see the rear wheel. Similar problem, close to the wall and as far forward as possible to get the bike between the corner of the house and the back of the car.
