Hey!

Im looking for a passenger side wing mirror cap on a 2001 Freelander 3dr :S

Mine got pinched! Was a bit confused at why at first but after searching thru eBay, scrapyards etc etc I can understand why, they are just nowhere to be found!

Its one of the units that doesn't fold (just flaps back if you knock it).

Can anyone help me on where to find one? Ive had a quote from Land Rover but you cant just buy the part, you have to pay for a whole new unit which is about £90!!

same problem here mate,there bloody expensive.some little toad pinched ours to,just keep trying the local breakers something will turn up eventually...

You've no chance of getting just a front piece for your wing mirror. I tried for ages... eventually bought a whole new unit off ebay for £70 and then someone bought the glass and mechanical system from me on ebay for about £35. Was the closest i could get to not paying out for a whole new wingmirror.

which will then get nicked in its entirity, so the wing mirror will be the least of your worries !

For £60 I bought a folding wing mirror - ten minute job to swap.
