Hi All.

Unfortunately my passenger wing is beyond repair on my 300tdi 1995 defender.

I've been offered a 2003 TD5 wing, which I beleive will fit? However If I remember correctly the wing side repeaters are different. Mine are just small square repeaters and I think the TD5'S are larger.

So can I just change to the later repeater? Or is the wing cut out different. The drivers side wing will remain original you see.

I am 90% sure it is just a straight swap. I am planning on fitting some at some point as both my wings are screwed and I like the look of the TD5 repeaters better.

Cheers mate.

I've only got to replace the passenger wing. and just having one td5 repeater won't look right.

I think if you are careful you can cut the tdi wing to fit the repeater, shouldn't be too hard seeing as it is ali. Would have to be a weird shape though I reckon

Yep but reporting the 1st post and asking is a much more reliable way of getting a mods attention.

The later (oval) repeaters have a different (longer) cut-out so you will have to trim the other side if you want them to match.

Surely you wont see both side repeaters at the same time from any angle.

Seems easier to get a wing for each side if you want perfection - not fettling the old light to fit the new wing or the new light to fit the old wing on the other side.
