Hi all. Am new to this so firstly apologies if I've posted somewhere I shouldn't! I've just brought an 04 freelander td4 , really pleased so far accept when I'm driving at speed it sounds like I've left a window cracked open slightly in the cabin but I've checked and all are closed ..... can anyone shed any light on this , any advise/ suggestions will be massively welcomed.
Thank you so much. K

Before you go much further on LZ, swing by the intro section and say hello and a little info on yourself. Other wise some of the senior bullies will be by and say hello:rolleyes:

Good luck and again :welcome2: to the nut house, and have some rhino hide and have a sense if humor

Leaking windscreen suround it could be!?!

Is the windscreen rubber in good nick? and are all the panel gaps at the front equal? Could be its been in a front end shunt and been repaired, no expert me but that would be the first two things on my list to check!

Might just be a door rubber flat or a bit of trim loose and not flush. Could even be an early warning that the doors about fall off:)

It's built in to allow a flow of fresh air to assist with combustion when you burn it! :D

By the way, :welcome2: to the asylum!

Try pressing the air recirculation button in. At high speeds it can let a fair bit of airflow in which whistles if you have a lot of the vents shut.
