Evening friends.
Recently spotted slight 1 mm gap on the top of my front window seal. and i am sorry i ever touched it now. I simply put a bead of silicone along the top and then ran a wet finger along it,and thought i had done a good repair. Only to find out three days later when i cast my eye on it discovered the whole rubber seal had swollen and distorted and would now need replacing. It seems that the silicone chemically reacted to the rubber window seal so BEWARE , I should of purchased correct sealant.
