Only had it a few weeks. Been on some gentle lanes around Wokingham last weekend which were OK for me as a beginner (and in a Freelander rather than a Discovery or Defender). Most of it was flat and just bumpy but there were a couple of patches of mud that I could have got wrong and a couple of fords that were deeper than they looked.

I might go up to Salisbury Plain at some point. It is criss-crossed with Byeways and I have done some miles up there on XT600 bikes. There are tons of YouTube videos of Salisbury Plain if you want to get a feel for that. It is mostly chalk so very slippery when wet and the ruts can be deep in places.

ok that sounds kool. Just watched a few videos of Green lanning in Wokingham.
looks like a nice little drive. I dont do anything fast or extreme just like getting a bit of mud on the tyres. Did you go out with a few vehicles?

Work near Winchester but from Alton/ amazingstoke area so quite central to everyone and know most of lanes around this area of ampshiree. Keep an eye on the greenlaning threads like Mr Hat Man has said :)

It's strange i spent about 3 hours yesterday researching byways online and plotted them on the map. Mainly South West of Basingstoke but they may be a good link to some of yours if you wana borrow the map anytime.
