recently purchased this from ebay , he told me it will definatly fit a 2.5 1995 disco 1 , my mate thinks otherwise , any help much appreciated?

it was advertised as a classic range rover/ Disco 1 bullbar, there was no mention of needing adapters or welding or anything like that :/ , i had specifically asked him if it will definately fit my vehicle..
 
do you have any pics of the bracket (where it bolts to the chassis) it should line up with the bumper mounts ??
its hard to see in your pic
 
i can take a picture of the fitting in the morning, my pal said it looked like the brackets should be around a slightly different way , we took the number plate off and tryed matching it up
 
Looks like a slot rather than two separate holes which is how some of the bullbars were, I've had both
 
no, m12 x 120mm use new nylocks and bolts

I think I put in 140's plus some nice new washers when I got new ones

not 100% but i remember my brackets went into a l shape and your look straight
