I have the discovery 2 4.0 V8.. now i know it's been asked many times perhaps.. but will a p38 4.6 V8 fit in the disco 2?.. is it almost the same angine as the disco 2 4.6?

4.6 was an optional engine in USA spec D2’s. It’ll fit. Might need the ECU mapping for optimum tune though.

Thanks for that...
Now i can get a complete engine.. with all the auxilaries.. but.. as my 4.0 has gas fitted to the intake manifold.. will my old manifold fit or do i need to use the 4.6 one and refit the LPG??

If memory serves me, you'll need the 4.6 manifold.
