This might be a really silly question!
My rear door is delaminated at the bottom due to the hinges sagging and catching on the rear bumper.
Once this corona virus is over I'm going to look for another. Will I be able to transport a rear door home in the back of mine? I can't take mine of until I have a replacement.
Is there a way of rocking it in to the car if you know what I mean?
Has anybody ever done this ?
I have a disco 1,3 door.

As above post, but only if u have a flat floor all the way to the back of the front pair of seat, which will give the full length height, which my D1 doesn’t have when the mid seats are down and folded forward :(

I have never taken the seats out of my D1, but I do this continuously with my D2 and after the first time it is dead easy and the first time it is only a bit harder due to the rust on the bits of the the bolts that protrude below the floor, so you might want to find them and treat them, ideally running a die up and down 'em to clear the threads. The bigger seat weighs quite a bit!

Take a hacksaw and spanners, swap the doors over while you're there and then pop the glass out and cut the door ready for scrap, simples.
