just wondered if this huuuge bl00dy thing will fit in rear of my L322 to keep mrsblonde happy so we can transport the damn thing home?

Not a problem.
Place mirror in a large sack.
Hit sack with large hammer.
Place sack in rear of Rangie.
Drive home.
Empty the sack and tell the missus you've got her a jigsaw for Christmas.
Spend the evening in the pub.
Not a problem.

I brought home a double bed in my P38, L322 is a good bit bigger so I would say yes
