Because it is quirky, and because people tell me all the reasons why I shouldn't have bought it.
Since buying it in October, and spending a lot of time on Landyzone, it has:
shredded a ref diff (the seller replaced this with a recon unit)
had a new VCU after realising that it stopped on lock in reverse (thanks Bell Engineering - did it while I waited)
2 new tyres
smoke emerging from the bonnet - turned out to be very old injector fuel return hoses
new radio which plugged straight into the existing connectors
bad starting - waiting to fit the solenoid kit
temp gauge which works (sometimes)
But all in all it has just got to me work in the recent snow when colleagues in vans cried off for the day, i live 1200 feet above sea level and I never doubted that it would get up our hill.
'98 2 litre diesel sounds lovely 128000 on the clock
It's brilliant - can't wait to try it off road!:clap2:
