on me 4.2 v8 rr ive had a very loud whineing/vibrating noise..

the props are new hd glyn lewis
the diffs are arb lockers

ive replaced the front diff output bearing as that had play in it
the front drivers side bearing had a bit of play so replaced that the other 3 were fine

wheels have been balanced
checked the exhaust thats all fine

where else should i be looking at?

its more aparant the faster you go and if you let the foot of the gas its a bit more aparant aswell..

On my disco was exactly how you describe..more when going faster and when taking foot off the accelarator...

I've bought this mate, but havent tried it yet...

Molyslip 2001Â® slick G restore UR Gearbox 50 xbeter on eBay (end time 01-Jan-11 11:21:14 GMT)

emailed the guy and he was really helpfull, said it should quieten things down.....
cant be used with automatics though, is yours manual?

is there anyone near me that would be willing to take the rr out for a quick drive and see what they think it could be..

i dont want to just replace things willy nilly and not get any progress

tbh im not sure..a mate seems to think it may be chain driven? but i havent got a clue how can i tell?

i know it has a viscous and not manuel difflock

If it is running range rover auto box and not discovery with diff lock box-not lt230 as far as I'm aware
