I’ve got 7.50 x r16 Avon Range Master tyres on freestyle alloys. I think this is an old style tyre size? I want to change for a general grabber style tyres. What tyre size should I be buying?

But are you content with the 36B....or do you prefer the handling of the 36C...36D..or even the 36DD???? Size matters!!!:D

Flotation can be an issue with a....errr....fuller profile and 'handling' can be a bit of a problem but it's nice to have something with a decent amount of grip :p

Really depends on usage, mainly road use some off road, standard size is fine. 7.50x16 was standard, metric equivalent is 205x16. Later Defenders went to 235x16. For heavier conditions you will maybe want mud tyres.

If you want to do a lot of heavy off roading, pay and play, winch challenge, etc. you may want to look at larger sizes ;)

Thank you thank you thank you, I was only saying to a fellow LZ member how much I enjoy it when someone asks what tyre size they can fit on their tratter. Come on then, let the abuse comence
