Hi I have just bought and fitted some HD plus 2" terrafirma springs, and shocks. I put the slightly thinner springs on the front, thicker on the back. The trouble is it now doesnt sit level the front is higher, by about 1". I will see if this changes when I fit the winch bumper and winch. If it doesnt do you think I have put the springs the wrong way around. I couldnt find any markings to indicate which is front or back. The only thing I did notice is one side is longer then the other so I fitted that to the drivers side. Currently I have set some 25mm spring spacers to level the load. I may remove them again if the front sags a bit more with the winch. I value your opinions and really appreciate your feedback. Thanks Jim

There are a few terrafirma kits mate. A couple of them are specific for people with winch bumpers and winches. If you've got the suspension on and not fitted rest of kit yet, it will definately have an impact.

Thicker Springs generally go on the back

I can't remember what springs I fitted but when the are the wrong way around you will know. I fitted new springs to my 2001 Disco about 8 weeks ago and the first time I fitted them the back was about 20mm lower than it was with the old springs. Swapped them with the front and it lifted the back about 20mm higher than it was before I started messing about with them. I the ink that the longer ones go to the front but as I said if you have them fitted and it's wrong you will see as the back will be lower than when you started.
