Hey everyone Im looking at bringing over a 110 defender to the states. I dont know alot about the motors. From what Ive read the td5 is way to go but I think its out of my price range plus I will have to be more creative to get it in the states. Right now one of the older models will still be a lil work but much more manageable.

I want a diesel not a petrol. Id like to a turbo diesel. So tell me what I want. What I should look for. Also keep in mind parts will be a bit harder to come by here. I will bring over the basic spares when I grab one and maybe a lump (td5) down the road.

if u can manage a 12 month wait, probably you can get the 2007 defender that will be reintroduced to the north american market.
