A quick one for those in the know..Which is cylinder No.1 on a 4 cylinder 2.25 petrol military enginel? Is it the cylinder closest the driver or the one closest the radiator?
Trying to attempt the timing tomorrow..can't find any timing mark on the pulley wheel either...:confused: lucky me.
 
if engine has been worked on before timing can be 180 degrees out depending on how skew gear was fitted,as long as leads match and spark point is right it will run okay no 1 plug lead is normally the front one on cap
