My wife's 300 tdi disco is in need of a new head which I have sourced. However looking around I see Erling do composite type gasket and Victor Reinz do a multi layer metal gasket, what is the preferred option for the 300 tdi

a 3 hole ellring ,err5263g will do as well as anything

mls requires a more perfect surface and costs more, tdis have solid block face and both 200tdi and 300tdi dont need it ,they only suffer from hgf after overheat( head moves) and no gasket will alter that
