Okay, I know there's been a LOT of threads on this subject, but by all accounts there has also been a LOT of different choices & personal opinions made.
To begin with, I recently bought a KONNWEI OBDII/EOBD KW808, where it was advertised as useable for every vehicle. It isn't. It's for petrol vehicles only. Sigh. Beware!
So, everyone, what is the best Diagnostic Reader for a diesel FL1, and how does it compare by price with the others? I take note, that, Lynx uses a laptop - I think, whereupon the display is infinitely better than a Hawkye. But how does it compare for its efficiency?
And while I'm on the subject of machines that connect to the OBDII, can anyone recommend a machine for correcting/altering the recorded mileage, again, for a FL1?
And, just for a treat, I'm including a picture of one of my old-birds. 4 engines, v-12's each, and 3.5 litres each cylinder. That's like an old Rover 3.5 car engine in each cylinder. Can you imagine that? I miss 'em all.
