Been trying to come up with a solution for some time to sort out where to stow my Ardcase pedal lock instead of leaving it on the passenger footwell floor. Then I had a brainwave. Opened the back door of my Defender and slid the Ardcase behind the grab handle..... just to see if it would fit in the handle. Well it did, very nicely. I then removed the grab handle and bolted it to the front of the seat box on the passenger side, with the handle pointing upwards the same as when fitted to the back door. I had to put a couple of spacers (big washers) between the handle and the seat box to get the right fit and removed the clip that secures the lid to the battery compartment. Now the Ardcase sits there on its edge behind the handle, out of the way and in easy reach for when I need to secure the pedals. You could probably find a bathroom towel rail at one of the big DIY stores that could be used just as well if you prefer chrome or stainless steel. Just be careful when drilling the holes....you won't want to drill through your Spider imobiliser or battery would you.
