Hi all,

Living in Belgium, I'm having a hard time sourcing some things locally. On Friday morning I will be driving from Dover to pick up an ebay'd Engels fridge on in London (Abbey Wood) then continuing up to Hull for around 6-7pm. I was hoping I could stop in to 1-2 places and pick up the following, but don't know where good places would be close to my route:

1) breaker bar
2) one shot grease
3) hylomar blue sealant
4) Jate Rings
5) Wading plugs


Can somebody make some recommendations on good places close to my route where I could pick these things up, preferably in 1-2 stops? From what I've read on this forum I'm guessing a Halfords will have the first three (?) but am not sure as I've never set foot in one yet.

2) one shot grease (most motor factors or any landrover independent/specialist)

Yep I rekon most LARGER halfords would have the first three. The one shot is the one that they may not.

You know I asked you about them halfords superbright light bulbs a while back? Do you know if I'd get the same discount on them with me trade card as I would on dash bulbs?

discount varies - yu would have been better getting em when they was bogoff - offer now finished.

I bought some dash bulbs a few weeks back. I needed 6 but at £2 each in Halfords I couldn't be arsed so I thought I'll get 1 for me speedo and then next time I'm near a decent parts factor I'd get the rest cos they only cost about 30-40p usually.

I hands over my tade card an gets 80% off. I got a feeling I ended up paying 41p each for 2 or 2.5w bulbs and 35p each for 1.2w.

Just wondered if headlight bulbs were 80% discount too?
