Hello

I am looking to purchase some recovery equipment like sand matts, a hi-jack, a recovery tow rope etc.
Do you know of any good place where such equipment is available, and especially in the South-East of the UK please ?

Get yerself a copy of any of the Landy magazines. You'll find pages of ads for exactly the kind of gear you're after. Get on their website and it'll be here in a couple of days, simple Alternatively scan the pages of ebay but beware loads of people selling stuff for more money than you can get it in the shops

Get one of them Kinetic elastic recovery ropes There wicked had a 110 pull me out last weekend (could'nt open me doors so much in ruts),tow bar to tow bar,he shot off like a bask.....bowmmmmm like a bungy jump,moved me about a foot, took about 3 attempts but it did the job

They work really well, but you've got to be sure that your recovery points and chassis are well up to the job, or you'll pull bits clean off. plus make sure that everyone is in a safe place.

stand clear! you dont want one of them coming off with a shackle and recovery point attached to the end at full boing... do you.

i dont like them. preffer recovery straps. seems like a good way to rip off your rear cross member when pulling people out.
