Hi Everybody

I'm tired of spending a fortune at my local Landrover dealer for my 20 year old Defender, so I'm looking for a reliable parts supplier.

I recently tried a company called Defender bits :ban: and to be honest they are shocking!!! They took my money no problem but I haven't received any parts and I can't get hold of anyone either on the phone or email. so I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

However I still need a few parts and I would be grateful for any positive recommendations provided.

Many thanks for your help

Jack

The internet is your best friend
Get a hold of your part numbers
here - Allbrit MG ROVER & Land Rover Ersatzteilkatalog

and then search for what you want
They are out there

Total Parts
Island 4x4
British Parts
Paddocks
LR Direct
LR Series
etc etc etc

What biggeeeee said. I'm gonna throw Rimmer Bro's in there as I've always had fantastic service from them, their website is very easy to use and offers a whole load of aftermarket suppliers as opposed to just ****part; and 9 times out of 10 if I order via standard delivery I still get it next day

It might help us to help you if we knew where you are ...

There are a lot of indies out there who would provide you with both bits and free advice!

I CBA to do a search on people, I just look at the location bit at the top corner!

I think that I am related to Beau Geste ... you can call me Beau Nidle :D:D:D

...And he's been on here since April 2010, and only 10 posts! Keen int he? ;);)

I used Island 4x4 in the end and all is now well.

Do you ever feel like driving your Defender into a ditch and walking away?:violent:

However after it passed the MOT, the landy is back on the road.:D
