Trying to buy bits and bobs and generally learn about the disco I've just bought can anyone tell me is best to get parts from?

On my list is:

front and rear discs and pads
Window rubbers for alpines, tailgate window and rear 3/4 windows
Battery tie down bar
New air and water pipes
Possible new drivers front calliper

Discs and pads from any decent motor factors.

Battery tie down bar from halfords.

As for the rest, depends if you're after an actual shop or not? You can get pretty much anything you want off many dedicated sites.

Where are you based?

Based in Berkshire and as special as this may make me sound I generally haven't been able to find much online and I don't know why

Try Brookwells good prices they know there stuff and their web site actually works and is vehicle specific .
