Help, I have lost my low ratio. I still have it if I use diff lock but not in just low ration, it stays in normal ratio when I try to engage low. All the linkage appears to be working.
I did have a funny experience recently. I think the diff lock engaged itself without me using the lever. At the time i did not know what was happening. It felt as if the front wheels were about to fall off. I stopped in the middle of the road to check the front wheel nuts as the front end was swaying from side to side. The steering wanted to go straight, I think the transmition wound itself up as I was on tarmac at the time. It appeared to short itself out but now I have no low ratio.
Any usable suggestions would be welcome.

you would get wind up on the the road in difflock with uneven tyre wear it would happen without cornering, you can either adjust linkage by moving it around a spline or two at top or adjust nuts 13mm spanner size on linkage at t/box end ,or remove gaiter off lever remove gate plate and file hole to allow lever more travel

There are little plastic bushs on the diff lock and ratio levers mine were either worn or totally missing cost pence all now works as it should do.
Can be seen with th drivers underseat plate removed

Hi Lynall, Thanks for the info. these plastic bush, where do you get them from? is this something Paddock would stock and is it much of a job to do?
I have to get my hands dirty next weekend fitting a Kenlow fan.
