Hi guys

You know when you take something apart and you always end up with somthing left over? Well I was doing ok until I found this bracket but I have no idea what it should be bolted to. It is a round tube flatened at both ends 1/4" hole one end and 3/8" at the other. I have the bolts and have offered it up to different bits but can't identify it for the life of me.

To help you help me. Its a 93 discovery 3.5v8i with AC. And I took the engine out two months ago to rebuild it and now the old memory has let me down.

So over to you, any ideas? Thanks

Michael

I could be mistaken but it looks like the support bar that goes from the bottom of the block up to the front of the alternator bracket (behind the power steering pump).
