I'm looking for full length side steps for the series, lwb, you know, proper bars of metal that hug the body, unlike drop down ones.

sliders wud be better tho :D any ideas who does em?

I don't know if anybody sells heavy duty sills for series Landies off the shelf especially for 109s. I very rarely see anybody else out greenlaning in their series Land Rover these days (why not?), so I don't suppose there is much of a market for them. Perhaps some 110 sills could be adapted without too much trouble. I've been meaning to make some for my 88" for years but never got round to it. I think I'll be making a guard to protect the gearbox X member first anyway, because I've already ****ted mine on a tree stump and bent it back 2 inches (It was a new chassis - boo hoo!)

try andy@famous four -- am getting some galv rock sliders fabricated for me 88", they may be able to source or make 109" ones.

If I eventually bother I will be making my own, can't be that difficult! Won't be fancy or galvanised obviously!

hey, thats what he said, scaffolding tubes and abit of box section be reat, when we do it (wont be for a while seeing as lil'un is coming soon) we'll do a step be step thingie and show every1
