Hi people, where can i buy brand new general grabber at2s for my rangie size 255 55 18?? i did the usual ebay check and even a google search for general site but couldnt find where to pay online and get deliverd (hopefully with out being spanked) has any1 out there orderd any or managed to get any?? many thanks.:rolly:

Trying to help you for your quest for tyres I found out that the General tyres sold in Europe are made in Pakistan:hysterically_laughiThis may be the reason for so many Paki's in your country, you buy to many tyres and give them to much money to send . Do a Google( General tire and rubber company) )

I don't know if they cover your area but I got mine from ETYRES. They're listing them at £128 inc. mobile fitting.

Blackcircles are listing them as well. They offer a delivery only price.

Mind you listing them doesn't mean that they've actually got any, especially at this time of year.

AT2s are not available anymore. they have been replaced with a new version just called the AT. Seems AT2s were too noisy for new EU regs. New ones are good but not as aggressive looking as AT2s

The AT2's have, apparently, been discontiued and superseded by the less aggresive UHP. This is according to my local tyre place who were looking into it for me last week.

A company called Event Tyres (tyre manufacture, not the distributor of the same name) do a model called the ML698 which uses the same tread pattern as the AT2's (which in turns uses the old BF Goodrich A/T tread pattern). Here's the link: ML698 | Event Tyres

They are new tyres, not remoulds, and my boss is about to put some on his P38 as the AT2's are no longer available.

I think, with the 18 its a low profile tyre, so your not going to get the make you want in an 18, I had a look and cant find anything in that size, I have been looking around because I wanted a set for myself as well

Because they're an American company and website and they AT2 is continuing in the US but not the UK market?

No my post #3 listed a uk distributor and also your tyres are made in Pakistan at the general tyre plant

You're not so bright, are you? General Tires are an American company. Where they are made is irrelevant, you asked why they are listed on their website and I suggested because they are only selling the AT2 in their home market (US) and the UHP in the UK. Jeez...
