after missing the last few LZ meet ups, i really want to try to attend the next one.
so does anyone know when the next south west meet is?

The S*L*U*T*S are considering a 'Newbie' Off roading day in the not to distant future. There seem to be a few people on here that want to try their vehicles off road and either have nobody to go with or standard vehicles and are scared that they might get damaged or may get stuck. If you are interested in trying some GENTLE greenlanes in the not too distant future now is the time to say. Depending on how many responses we get is to wether we go ahead.

im definately up for it ratty. if it were to go ahead, where do u reckon it would be held?

Not sure yet. Possibly Salisbury plain, possibly Dorset.

This is only something we were chatting about this morning so there is nothing in stone yet. Like I say it is not gonna be the type of thing that experienced guys will want to do but there seem to be a lot of people with newer vehicles or freelanders that want to try their hand but are worried about damage or wether they their vehicles are up to the job. If you want deep water and mud this wont be for you.

Lets do Salisbury Plain - if we can't kill a slitty or hippo...................

............................................. the tanks will !!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

(It could even become a World Heritage Site as a mass burial ground of Gaylanders)

Only joking!! All newbies welcome - you're in safe hands :)

i am for going to salisbury plain for some fun, looking for a fair bit of mud and water, anybody interested :)

When you thinking of?
I may be available to come out to play, but i'm on the verge of taking the Disco off the road for 'derustification'.

Ok, no probs.
Nothing too severe out there, good ropes and shackles are a good idea, as are the relevant maps
Just hope you and your mates are relatively sensible. ;)

PM me if yu need a hand Boomer (once i got mine finished) or if ya need drawings or panel masters.

Thanks for the offer Daft. :)
I'm still toying with the bobtail/reshell idea.
Thinking of asking on here if anybody knows of one.
You seen the pics though - it's a really cool (if expensive) bobtail conversion.
I'm tempted, I really am.
