I've had my 110 hard top for getting on six years and unsurprisingly, I've been bitten by my pride and joy a fair few times. most recently i changed me glowplugs (well timed too, given the 2 inch of snow outside) - and managed to get stabbed by a box spanner lying on the wing! me mate was giving me a hand with a job a couple of years back and he merrily jumped out of the driver's seat when the truck was up on axle stands and fell on his arse (doing a decent upended woodlouse impersonation) in the yard...

so this got me to thinking - what's the strangest / funniest bite experience you've had with your monster? and do they do it on purpose just to remind you who is actually in charge?

also - anyone had any random flatuation events when fixing the truck? i always seem to issue air when fiddling about...:)

I only work under me motor when its dropping rust n mud in me eyes, nose, mouth hair and ears.When ever i take ity through a ford to clean it/ jet washed it nuffink needed doing.:mad:
 
why does mine always bite the top of my head with the bonnet catch whenever the bonnet is up?
 
my larry is good to me, he's never 'bitten' me in 2 years not even once. only car that hasnt

i was changing the back rear o/s tyre before a long trip and the jack bent . the wheel arch just nipped the top of my thigh.
 
every car ive ever owned has scarred me in some way or other. ive had stanley knives stuck into the bone of my thumb, doors closing on their own with my fingers stuck, the bonnet catch is a killer, ive been nearly blinded by rust and oil, the list is endles!! its a standing joke now that i cant pick up tools and work on my car without drawing blood!!
