Hi looking to replace the original wheels and tyres for something a bit more chunky but dont want to have to fit wheel arch extentions or spacers if possible, whats the biggest i can fit without altering any of the above?

235/85's fit, same rolling diameter as 7.50's but wider, still within body line but you'll probably need to adjust steering stops and lose a little turning circle (and better to fit them on the wider lwb rims)

Don't go any bigger or wider than 235/85/16 and fit lwb rims or modular rims then the tyres won't rub on the springs. I have 265/75/16's on modular rims on mine and its a bastard to park due to the wide tyres making the steering heavy.

Hey I have 245 70 16s on disco 1 steels and I've found them fine, dont rub on the stops, fill the arches nicely and are flush with the wings. Used to have 235 85 16's, and found the slightly less tall tires gives better torque off road / better on the hills.
