Still fixing it!
Hi all, I've searched both tinternet and forum but keep getting different answers- I want alloys for my 1990 landrover 90 2.5td.
What wheels from different landrovers fit? And does altering size affect things on vehicle? Mine has 16 inch steels at moment.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated- it's doing my head in!!!
Thanks

what answers do u have?

I'm being told early discos will fit stud pattern and p38's??
Did lr fit alloys to these earlier models originally- I want to keep my 90 as original as I can?

Disco1 and RRC have same stud pattern But most alloys won't fit on a drum braked rear axle. IIRC P38's have same stud pattern as D2

Cheers red hand- much appreciated!
FFS storm, I think you need to go and have a thomas the tank- ya narky ****er! Lol

last time i tried alloys on a drum braked fender they went over the drums fine but the front hubs were just to large to fit the alloy properly.

looked fine from the outside but there was about a 5mm gap between wheel and hub.

imo get some weller or modular wheels, fit without probs, look good and better for laning/ off road too

:)

EDIT - iirc the only alloys that fit without problem are the boost style

Cheers lads, your advice really is appreciated! 16 inch boost it is then- let the hunt begin!
What tyres go best with them- hahaha only joking storm

Personally i'd go down the road of 15 inch rims if you want to go laning and off roading a lot...
