Hello People, i have petrol freelander 'T' reg. The offside rear wheel will not move, it seems as if the brake is stuck on even though the handbrake is released. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Aww.. come on mate.... A fookin great Hammer!!!!:boink:

if it only started since we have had this cold snap, you may have water in the handbrake cable that has frozen. See if with the handbrake lever off you can move the linkage into the wheel.

If you think the brakes have siezed, you could try putting it in 2nd gear and turning the ignition.

Cheers

Booboo's got a point.. i NEVER use my hand brake in the winter,
speshly overnight wen its parked on my drive!
I just leave it in gear!!:)

It's also possible the lining of one of the two brakeshoes got off and blocks the drum now?

Yup could be the brake shoe lining come off, had this and its a cow to get the drum off!!!! Big hammer and a chisel is the only way
