Hello All, I was just wondering, Does anyone know if i can fit 30mm wheel spacers to my 300 tdi disco ?? and will it be a straight forward job of just fitting them and thats it, i have the normal alloys at 235 16 70. Many thanks all..

cos them tyres are puny and sticking them on spacers is pointless, they arnt big enough to cause problems catching..it will look stoopid

So putting my 205's on spacers will look even worse then..?
I like having a narrower tyre and was considering spacers and/or off set wheels.

Well thanks for all input, but i was thinking why it might look stupid..... All i wanted to do was to extend my wheels out a little as they look kinda stupid as they are in original form... I only asked if they can be put on to 30mm spacers !!!

yes they can but it will look stoopid:your_wrong:

you can fit them mate...i did to my first disco just to fill the arches a bit and it did the job...but if your serious go splash some cash on some new tyres ;)

I do not go off roading any more, so 205's are easy and cheap to get hold of cos you lot love to upgrade to bigger tyres.
There is less road noise from them, and I reckon more miles per gallon, but I am not 100% on that.
The reason I wanted to go wider is that the wheels look sunken into the arches on my standard disco, and I think it would look better with the wheels out a bit.

There is nothing stopping you from doing it but why bother.
Its a big 4x4 and IMO I dont think they look right with the arches filled.

If your serious about this pointless mod go for some better offset wheels as spacers are too much money for what you get.

Any recommendations..?

I bought these Bulldog 30mm Aluminium Land Rover Disco 1 Wheel Spacer Discovery 1 | eBay

But only because I changed from alloy wheels with 235/70/15 road tyres to steel wheels with 265/70/16 Off road tyres

Didnt think the spacers were bad value, and good quality too

This pic below shows how my weels look inside the arches, but take into consideration mine has a 2' lift kit fitted
